Hey guys. My name is Roxanne. I'm 21 & live in Austin, Texas. I've been dating my soldier for just over 3 years now...and been engaged (!!!) since May 24. We're attempting to plan a wedding, but with an uncertain deployment date, it's hard. So we're working on it as best we can.
I'm about to be a senior in college...studying to be a teacher. so yeah. that's me.

right now, i think we've decided we'll get legally married before he leaves, so i can have power of attorney and all that in case something happens...and then have our REAL wedding when he gets home. so aahhhhh i'll be married in the next 7 months!!!!!!!!! insane. anyway thanks againn.

ya, thats what eric and i did so we could get the ball rolling on putting in our AR packet and now the REAL weddings in 8 days and i've already been married for ALMOST A WHOLE MONTH:) makes me smile awww okay off to bed now..night girly!!!

Awe, well grats with engagement! My hubby and I got married Dec 23, 2005 and have yet to have our REAL wedding. We are waiting till our 5 year wedding anniversary

It was tons of planning, but it was the best day of my life and you'll feel like a true princess!
My hubby isn't in the military, so i cannot imagine how hard it must be to plan around all that!

so as of today, we've pretty much decided on a day for our legal marriage.

right now, we're looking at sometime in early november.
my parents live in connecticut since my dad is still active duty navy...so whenever they can fly out to texas is when we'll get married. i absolutely will not do it without our families there...and we want to make sure we get it done long enough before he goes back to iraq so we can get all the paperwork done we need to...and it's looking like between january - march when he deploys...so we just want to make sure we can do it before he leaves.
